At Takayama, once the unglazed ceramic pieces arrive, they gradually take shape through a series of processes, including hawaki (dust removal), pad printing, underglaze decoration, hand-painting by skilled artisans, and glazing.
This time, we introduce the firing process, in which the pieces are fired in a kiln.
