Kiln
Precise air–fuel ratio control and kiln pressure regulation using flue air dampers enable various firing modes, including oxidation and reduction firing.
Takayama’s kiln has an internal volume of 7.5 m³ and operates at a firing temperature of 1270°C. Firing takes approximately 10 hours, followed by about 12 hours of cooling.
By maintaining the temperature difference within the kiln to within 5°C, stable, high-quality firing is achieved.
